Kevin Harvick wins Maine’s TD Banknorth 250 (AP)

Posted by on Jul 22, 2008

NASCAR’s Kevin Harvick stayed an extra day and then raced to victory in the rain-delayed TD Banknorth 250 on Monday night. Harvick built a comfortable lead before turning back a late challenge by Glen Luce of Turner as he upstaged the field of local and regional drivers at Oxford Plains Speedway. Heavy rain on Sunday postponed the race for only the third time in 35-year history of the race.
